About The Position

Lead and inspire a dedicated warehouse team at the heart of our craft beer and wine distribution operation. This hands-on role ensures the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of exceptional products—from the moment they arrive to when they're ready to head out to our customers. As a first-line leader, you’ll guide daily warehouse activities, oversee accurate receiving and product placement, and cultivate a team culture that reflects our passion for quality, craft, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Familiar with inventory control, OSHA, and regulatory requirements
  • Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with minimal errors
  • Must be a team player and work well under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
  • Ability to work in hot and cold conditions and in all types of weather
  • Experience with material handling equipment (i.e., hand truck, dolly, pallet jack)

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous management experience
  • Previous experience in food service, beverage, or distribution industries
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Develop associates through training on policies and procedures
  • Foster a work environment that encourages open communication
  • Monitor a variety of operational information to ensure employees are following proper methods of operation
  • Lead continuous coaching and counseling of employees
  • Perform regular safety and operational inspections, reporting safety hazards and concerns along the way
  • Ensure timely maintenance of equipment and uphold the condition of the warehouse
  • Analyze expenses and costs of current operations, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate with management team to identify sources of shrinkage and assist with action plan development
  • Prepare various reports and forms like accident reports, inventory reports, inspection reports, absence reports, repair orders, safety recommendations, and equipment maintenance or replacement requests
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
