About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a part-time, first-shift Warehouse Selector at its distribution center at 225 Solar Dr. in Imperial, Pennsylvania. Selectors support order processing by selecting products for customer orders. The work is physically demanding and involves being on your feet for up to 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer and in extreme cold or hot conditions. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided. Starting pay is $20.90 per hour, with two pay raises during the first year and the opportunity to earn more per hour based on speed and efficiency. The posting says selectors take home an average of 122% of their base salary.

The part-time first-shift schedule runs Sunday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. until work is finished; shift length varies with work volume. Friday and Saturday are scheduled days off, though employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Candidates must be at least 18, communicate in English, and successfully pass a drug test and background check. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements
