About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a part-time Warehouse Selector at its distribution center in Imperial, Pennsylvania. The role involves selecting customer orders in a distribution center and supporting accurate, seamless order processing and delivery. Work is physically demanding and includes being on your feet for up to 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer and other extreme hot or cold conditions. No prior experience is required; a dedicated training team provides training. Starting pay is $20.90 per hour, with pay that scales with production and efficiency. The posting says selectors earn two pay raises in their first year and that, on average, selectors take home 122% of their base salary. The schedule is a Sunday-through-Thursday workweek, with Fridays and Saturdays off. This is a first-shift position starting at 7 a.m. and ending when work is finished; shift length varies with work volume. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company information, and paperwork, and to follow verbal instructions.
Able to stand and work on foot for up to 10 hours.
Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
