About The Position

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Requirements

Strong safety focus
Highly tech-savvy
Experience using Excel and Outlook
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work effectively with both truck drivers and office professionals
Must pass drug screen and background check
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

Monitoring Vision, radio, and CCTV systems
Conducting foot patrols
Performing data entry
Preparing detailed incident reports
Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
