About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access control procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
• Support transportation hub operations by providing directions, answering questions, and helping address customer concerns while maintaining awareness of security-related issues across the location.
