About The Position

The specialist will operate industrial powered lift equipment, conduct or assist with physical inventory counts, and maintain their work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities also include removing inbound freight from carriers, checking for shipping damage, operating a forklift and order-picker, using bar code scanners for inbound shipments, and completing required paperwork.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Stand up Reach Forklift experience preferred
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery

Responsibilities

Shipping handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials.
Operates industrial powered lift equipment.
Conduct or assist with physical inventory counts.
Maintain work area and follow procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Remove inbound freight from carrier
Check for shipping damage
Operate forklift and order-picker
Use bar code scanners to check inbound shipments
Complete required paperwork and forward to Inventory Control
