About The Position

The Warehouse Representative role at AESSEAL is a multi-faceted position encompassing various operational duties within a warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include acting as a Repair Technician, handling incoming repairs, disassembly, washing, blasting, and basic equipment maintenance. The role also involves Parts Pulling for customer orders, stock adjustments, issuing parts, labeling, and checking quantities. Comprehensive Shipping duties include ensuring correct labels, following special instructions, proper boxing, paperwork management, supply tracking, order prioritization, information verification, tracking, communication, and freight preparation using equipment like a hoist. Packaging tasks involve boxing, creating packing slips, double-checking sales slips, and managing supplies. Receiving responsibilities include handling merchandise, checking delivery slips, unloading, unpacking, verifying quality and quantity, putting away stock, filing paperwork, and communicating with personnel. Additionally, the position requires Inventory Cycle Counting, which involves maintaining count schedules, accurate stock counting, recording variances, and reconciling stock. The representative must understand AESSEAL's inventory and stock databases and adhere to all established safety practices. Overtime is expected as required. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Recording and un-boxing of incoming repairs
  • Disassembly of seals sent in for repair
  • Washing and blasting of parts after disassembly
  • Basic maintenance of repair area equipment
  • Filling customer orders
  • Making stock adjustments when necessary
  • Issuing parts to shop assembly
  • Correctly labeling all parts that are pulled for sales orders
  • Pulling parts
  • Checking stock codes and proper quantities against packing slips and work orders
  • Pulling sales orders from auto store
  • Accurately record and report stock variances (Inventory)
  • Maintain and report an accurate reconciliation of stock (Inventory)
  • Ensure labels are correct (Shipping)
  • Follow special instructions in all work order (Shipping)
  • Follow proper boxing guidelines (Shipping)
  • Match paperwork to correct work order (Shipping)
  • Signature required on all work orders (Shipping)
  • Responsible for keeping up with all supplies needed to run daily operations (Shipping)
  • Prioritizing shipping orders based on need
  • Verify correct information for shipping/make updates with corrected shipping information
  • Tracking orders when required and reporting information
  • Communicate with any shipping changes
  • Freight pallet preparation (i.e. strapping, plastic wrap, etc.)
  • Monitor freight shipments and utilizing hoist when necessary
  • Boxing up for Logo Boxes (Packaging)
  • Match paperwork to correct work order (Packaging)
  • Creating packing slips
  • Double-check all sales slips
  • Responsible for keeping up with all supplies needed to run daily operations (Packaging)
  • Prioritizing sales orders
  • Communicate to shipping any shipping changes
  • Receives merchandise, checks, and signs delivery slips
  • Assist with unloading pallets / material
  • Unpacks merchandise and verify quality and quantity against supporting documents
  • Put away stock
  • Filing paperwork according to procedures
  • Contacts appropriate personnel for information regarding shipments received when necessary
  • Maintains work area
  • Maintain the inventory count schedule, running reports for the scheduled daily count
  • Accurately count stock
  • Accurately record and report stock variances (Inventory Cycle Counting)
  • Maintain and report an accurate reconciliation of stock (Inventory Cycle Counting)
  • Follow all established safety practices
  • Work overtime as required
