If you are looking for a career with excellent earnings potential and sales opportunity - then look no further than Global Furniture Group, one of the largest manufacturers of workplace, education, healthcare + hospitality furniture in North America.  Global Furniture Group has an immediate career opportunity for a Warehouse Representative in the Lawnside, NJ Area.  This candidate will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-2 yrs.previouswarehouseexperience preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate with customers, salespersonneland internal staff. Excellent time management skills.
Previousforklift experience preferred.
Basic computer knowledgepreferred.
Basic RF scanner knowledge preferred.
Ability to pass PIT certifications provided by Global.
Dependable and reliable.
Ability to work in extreme hot and/orcold weatherconditions.

Responsibilities

Unloading, sorting, and staging products.
Sorting, staging, and preparing orders for shipmentsutilizingRF scanning system; manually pulling specialized,non RFscannerproductas needed (sample chairs, parts, literature, etc.)
Sorting and placing stock products on racks, shelves or in bins according to assigned bin location.
Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-80lbs, occasionally team-lift and/or team-move objects that weigh 80-150lbs.
Complete,maintaindaily, weekly maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Communicate any issues with specific shipping, delivery, packaging and tagging requirements to Customer Care, Warehouse Manager and/or General Manager.
Respond to both internal and external customer requests ina timelymanner.
Complete work accurately,timelyand witha high levelof attention to detail.
Assistin performing inventory cycle counts.
Maintains Safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, andwork stationsneat, sweep,dustand mop. Always organizewarehouseand work area for orderliness.
Safelyoperateall warehouse PIT including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamptrucksand pallet jacks.
Wear all proper safety equipment (PPE) as required.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, report incidents promptly, andparticipatein training sessions.
