About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving all products delivered to the hotel/casino and delivering them to the proper department. You will inspect packages and count for accuracy, and deliver packages from federal express, UPS, and RPS mail to the appropriate departments. This position also involves moving furniture and office equipment between departments, verifying items on invoices and requisitions against pallet contents, adjusting invoices based on pallet weights, and delivering items for storage. Team members are expected to follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, proactively greeting guests and fellow team members, and participating in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be computer literate.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to perform arithmetic calculations.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Must be able to work well with co-workers as a team.

Nice To Haves

Prior receiving (especially food) experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect packages and count for accuracy.
Deliver packages for federal express, UPS and RPS mail to the appropriate departments.
Move furniture and office equipment from one department to another.
Verify all items listed on invoices and requisitions with items on pallet.
Weigh pallet and adjust invoice.
Deliver items to the proper department or store man for storage.
Push and pull heavy materials weighing up to 200lbs.
Maneuver throughout the casino and hotel areas to deliver items.
Reach below and above shoulders while performing receiving duties.
Lift up to and carry up to 70lbs continuously.
Operate a pallet jack, forklift, weigh scale and pull carts and dollies filled with items weighing up to 100 lbs.
Perform functions in a noisy, busy environment.
Work in extreme temperatures; below 10 degrees Fahrenheit in freezer to over 115 degrees Fahrenheit outdoors.
Tolerate foul odors.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
Handle stress and indoor pressure.
Work up to performance standards.
Show customer sensitivity and make situation/problem analytical judgments.
Work with little supervision.
Communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
Work well as a team player as well as independently.
Lift continuously through the day.
Bend, crouch, kneel, twist, lift, stoop, reach and work at a desk when performing administrative functions.
Work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
