About The Position

This role encompasses a variety of warehouse functions including repair technician duties, parts pulling, shipping, packaging, receiving, and inventory cycle counting. The individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in all processes, maintaining inventory databases, and adhering to safety practices. The position may require overtime as needed.

  • Understanding of the functionality of AESSEAL inventory and stock databases.
  • Ability to follow all established safety practices.
  • Employees are expected to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Recording and un-boxing of incoming repairs.
  • Disassembly of seals sent in for repair.
  • Washing and blasting of parts after disassembly.
  • Basic maintenance of repair area equipment.
  • Filling customer orders.
  • Making stock adjustments.
  • Issuing parts to shop assembly.
  • Correctly labeling all parts pulled for sales orders.
  • Pulling sales orders from auto store.
  • Accurately recording and reporting stock variances.
  • Maintaining and reporting accurate reconciliation of stock.
  • Understanding the functionality of inventory and stock databases.
  • Following all established safety practices.
  • Ensuring labels are correct for shipping.
  • Following special instructions in work orders.
  • Following proper boxing guidelines.
  • Matching paperwork to the correct work order.
  • Keeping up with all supplies needed for daily operations.
  • Prioritizing shipping orders based on need.
  • Verifying correct shipping information and making updates.
  • Tracking orders when required and reporting information.
  • Communicating any shipping changes.
  • Freight pallet preparation (strapping, plastic wrap, etc.).
  • Monitoring freight shipments and utilizing hoists when necessary.
  • Boxing up for Logo Boxes.
  • Creating packing slips.
  • Double-checking all sales slips.
  • Prioritizing sales orders.
  • Communicating to shipping any shipping changes.
  • Receiving merchandise, checking, and signing delivery slips.
  • Assisting with unloading pallets/material.
  • Unpacking merchandise and verifying quality and quantity against supporting documents.
  • Putting away stock.
  • Filing paperwork according to procedures.
  • Contacting appropriate personnel for information regarding shipments received.
  • Maintaining the inventory count schedule and running reports for scheduled daily counts.
  • Accurately counting stock.
