About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Warehouse Receiver for their Houston, TX location. This role is crucial for inspecting incoming products for damage, ensuring accuracy in counts, and managing the receiving process. The position is part of a dynamic and growing team within a leading distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2 years of warehouse experience
• 1 year of receiving experience
• Great communication skills
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Cherry Picker experience preferred
• Stand-Up/Sit-Down Forklift experience preferred
• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, unload trucks, and scan products into the system.
• Handle all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt.
• Inspect all contents for damage and volume.
• Put away the product.
• Assist with pulling orders.
• Help with some inventory.
• Work with the receiving team and collaborate and communicate with related departments.
