About The Position

The Warehouse Receiver stocks and maintains warehouse inventory, including food, produce, supplies, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The role delivers inventory to OTG Management locations within the airport terminal and participates in quality control to ensure damaged products are neither accepted into the warehouse nor distributed to OTG locations.

Requirements

Understand and adhere to all airport rules and regulations.
Ability to read invoices and count product.
Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations and FIFO guidelines.
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 85 pounds occasionally.
Ability to climb ladders to store and retrieve product.
Ability to push and pull a delivery cart.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and management.
Must be able to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

Accept and receive incoming merchandise into the warehouse.
Verify incoming merchandise against invoices for accuracy.
Organize merchandise and stock it appropriately.
Maintain warehouse stock in an organized and clean fashion.
Clean, sanitize, and organize the storeroom, including shelving, floors, and ceilings, to OTG specifications.
Inspect incoming merchandise to ensure it meets quality standards.
Fulfill orders according to distribution requests.
Maintain inventory of warehouse items.
Communicate stock runouts and service or quality problems to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
Follow sanitation and FIFO (first in, first out) regulations.
Clean, sweep, and restock as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
