About The Position

The Warehouse Receiver stocks and maintains warehouse inventory, including food, produce, supplies, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The role delivers merchandise to OTG Management locations within the airport terminal and participates in quality control to prevent damaged products from being accepted into the warehouse or distributed to OTG locations. The position requires adherence to airport rules, sanitation requirements, and FIFO procedures, and may involve varied hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.

Requirements

Understand and adhere to all airport rules and regulations.
Ability to read invoices and count products.
Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations and FIFO guidelines.
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 85 pounds occasionally.
Ability to climb ladders to store and retrieve products.
Ability to push and pull a delivery cart.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and management.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

Accept and receive incoming merchandise into the warehouse.
Verify incoming merchandise against invoices.
Organize and appropriately stock merchandise.
Keep warehouse stock organized and clean.
Clean, sanitize, and organize the storeroom, including shelving, floors, and ceilings, to OTG specifications.
Inspect incoming merchandise to ensure it meets quality standards.
Fulfill orders according to distribution requests.
Maintain inventory of warehouse items.
Communicate stock runouts and service or quality problems to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
Follow sanitation and first-in, first-out (FIFO) regulations.
Clean, sweep, and restock as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
