About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking a Warehouse / Project Center Specialist to join its Operations team. The role is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of customer assets and efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers within a record center. Accuracy and safety are essential to protecting customer property and information. The position processes customer orders using the Safekeeper system and performs physical logistics work, while complying with organizational standards and security protocols. The role is based primarily at 660 Distribution Drive in Atlanta, Georgia (80%), with work at 611 Live Oak Parkway in Norcross, Georgia (20%). The listed pay is $19.00 per hour, and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Ability to prepare and pack files for shipping to the Iron Mountain warehouse.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools.
• Strong organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including regularly lifting up to 60 pounds and remaining stationary or performing repetitive motions for extended periods, such as climbing, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders using the Safekeeper system, accurately scanning carton barcodes and locations.
• Manage an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily for retrieval or return.
• Perform physical logistics, including loading and unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items.
• Safely operate necessary tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and secure work area and comply with organizational standards and security protocols.
• Safeguard customer information at all times.
