About The Position

The Warehouse Produce Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates organizational operations under the supervision of the Manager and/or Director. The role is responsible for improving departmental and organizational performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies. It oversees warehouse operations and the functions involved in planning, warehousing, and materials control, from forecasting replenishment needs through finished-goods inventory and customer delivery. The Supervisor also supports product planning and launches, maintains regulatory and ethical compliance, executes special projects, contributes to annual goal-setting, and hires, coaches, and mentors team members. The position collaborates across organizational levels and serves on the Executive Management Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or at least five years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum five years of related experience in a high-level management position with P&L responsibility.
• Produce and/or food distribution experience.
• Working knowledge of USDA and FDA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee functions involved in planning, warehousing, and materials control, from forecasted replenishment needs through finished-goods inventory and delivery to customers.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement, including USDA and FDA regulations.
• Participate in existing and new product planning to ensure timely acquisition of materials for product launches.
• Oversee all warehouse operations.
• Manage warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy in delivering finished goods to customers.
• Execute special projects in a timely manner.
• Assist with establishing annual goals and objectives aligned with corporate objectives.
• Hire candidates, coach and mentor effectively, and build strong teams.
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization and contribute as a member of the Executive Management Team.
