About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates organizational operations under the supervision of the Manager and/or Director. The role is responsible for improving departmental and organizational performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies. It oversees materials planning and control, warehouse operations, and timely, accurate delivery of finished goods to customers while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards. The Supervisor also supports product planning, special projects, annual goal setting, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and team development, and contributes as a member of the Executive Management Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of five years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least five years of related experience in a high-level management position with P&L responsibility.
• Produce and/or food distribution experience.
• Working knowledge of USDA and FDA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee functions involved in materials planning, warehousing, and control, from forecasting replenishment needs through finished-goods inventory and customer delivery.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement, including USDA and FDA regulations.
• Participate in existing and new product planning to ensure timely acquisition of materials for product launches.
• Oversee all warehouse operations.
• Manage warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy in delivering finished goods to customers.
• Execute special projects in a timely manner.
• Assist in establishing annual goals and objectives aligned with corporate objectives.
• Hire candidates, coach and mentor employees, and build strong teams.
• Collaborate across organizational levels and contribute as a member of the Executive Management Team.
