About The Position

Concordance Healthcare Solutions is seeking full-time, afternoon shift Warehouse Picking Clerks for their Shelbyville, IN facility. This role is responsible for locating and picking merchandise using picking documents and a voice pick system. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Historically has displayed and maintains excellent attendance.
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 60 lbs. (or more) push/pull carts weighing 100 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the shift. With or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced ever changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Locating and picking merchandise from picking documents.
Properly staging, checking, packaging, and consolidating merchandise in both bulk and stockless departments.
Assisting in the stockless transfer process.
Growing knowledge of customer needs for custom palletization and labeling, adhering to all customer requests.
Reporting inventory discrepancies and shortages to the supervisor and researching to locate short product to maintain a high fill rate.
Completing all paperwork in an orderly fashion according to established procedures.
Staging picked merchandise in the proper area, adjusting for space needs, and reporting any areas of concern to the supervisor.
Performing duties in both bulk and stockless departments as assigned, including assisting with stockless transfers, picking daily orders, checking, and loading.
Working proactively to foster and maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere.
Maintaining a clean, orderly work environment, including cleaning and straightening during general duties and performing general custodial assignments (including trash detail) when needed.
Operating all warehouse equipment efficiently and safely to avoid injury to personnel and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor, and maintaining equipment as assigned.
Performing other duties as assigned.
