About The Position

Concordance Healthcare Solutions is seeking full-time, afternoon shift Warehouse Picking Clerks for their Andersonville, TN facility. This role is responsible for locating and picking merchandise using picking documents and a voice pick system. Additionally, the clerk will properly stage, check, package, and consolidate merchandise in both bulk and stockless departments, assist with stockless transfers, and maintain knowledge of customer needs for custom palletization and labeling. The position requires adherence to customer requests, reporting inventory discrepancies, researching shortages, and completing paperwork accurately. The clerk will stage picked merchandise, perform duties in both bulk and stockless departments, and foster a positive team atmosphere. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, including general custodial duties and following a cleaning schedule, is also part of the role. The clerk must operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any mechanical issues. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic math skills.
Ability to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 60 lbs. (or more) push/pull carts weighing 100 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the shift. With or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced ever changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
Historically has displayed and maintains excellent attendance.
Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Locating and picking merchandise from picking documents and voice pick system.
Properly staging, checking, packaging, and consolidating merchandise in both bulk and stockless departments.
Assisting in the stockless transfer process.
Maintaining and growing knowledge concerning customer needs for custom palletization and labeling.
Adhering to all customer requests according to established policies.
Reporting inventory discrepancies and shortages to supervisor, researching as needed to locate short product and maintain high fill rate.
Completing all paperwork in an orderly fashion in accordance with established procedures.
Staging picked merchandise in the proper area adjusting as space needs may require, reporting any areas of concern to supervisor proactively.
Performing duties in both the bulk and stockless departments as assigned including assisting with the stockless transfer, picking daily orders, checking, loading as needed.
Working proactively to foster and maintain a positive team oriented atmosphere at all times.
Maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
Cleaning and straightening while performing general duties.
Performing general custodial assignments (including trash detail) when needed.
Following established cleaning schedule.
Reporting damages/disorderly areas to supervisor.
Operating all warehouse equipment efficiently in a safe manner to avoid injury to personnel and equipment.
Reporting any mechanical issue(s) to supervisor upon discovery.
Maintaining equipment as assigned.
Performing other duties as assigned.
