About The Position

This role involves picking and packing customer orders in a high-volume zone picking station, maintaining established productivity and accuracy standards. The job requires using a hand scanner to determine order requirements, pulling the correct product from the stock area, and packing it into appropriate boxes. Employees must meet daily productivity standards for lines picked per hour and ensure work meets quality standards. The position also involves conserving resources, resolving basic operating problems, reporting issues to management, staying current on operating procedures and company products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Employees are expected to participate in safety and health programs, including reporting hazards and incidents, wearing personal protective equipment, and supporting safety committee activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to use a hand-held RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.
