About The Position
Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is a leader in the commissary market and operates an essential business serving communities and customers. This role is within a warehouse and distribution environment, not a retail or public setting. The company provides PPE to all employees. The schedule is Monday - Friday, with hours from Monday - Thursday 7:00 am until done, and Friday 6:30 am - 9:00 am. This is a full-time position with some benefits starting from day one. The company emphasizes developing teams and building careers, offering cross-training across distribution departments, with opportunities for specialization. The facility is fully operational, servicing multiple business lines. This role involves performing warehouse tasks such as receiving product, preparing customer orders, and shipping products. Technology utilization is key, including mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, and tablets, along with learning WMS systems. Maintaining a clean workspace is also expected. Experience in picking/packing orders in a warehouse is required. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
- Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team
- Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory
- Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more
- Help maintain a clean workspace
- Pick/pack orders in a warehouse
- Perform other duties as determined by the needs of the business
