Warehouse Picker/Packer
About The Position
Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is a leader in the commissary market and operates an essential business serving communities and customers. They are seeking operations team members for their warehouse and distribution environment. This is a full-time position with some benefits starting from day one. The company emphasizes developing teams and building careers, offering cross-training across distribution departments with the option to specialize. The facility is fully operational, servicing multiple business lines. Team members will be involved in various warehouse tasks, including receiving, order selection, shipping, and inventory management, utilizing technology such as mobile scan guns, material handling equipment, computers, and tablets. Maintaining a clean workspace is also expected, along with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
- Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
- Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team
- Build, stage, and load pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) in support of our Bulk team
- Load third party and internal delivery trucks
- Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory
- Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more
- Help maintain a clean workspace
