Warehouse Package Handler
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring Package Handlers to support warehouse operations. Package Handlers contribute to the smooth functioning of the warehouse, with an emphasis on quality and following safety protocols to maintain a productive and secure work environment. The role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading delivery trucks while working collaboratively with the team. The position is based at 352 Hazelwood Logistics Center Dr., Hazelwood, MO 63042, and pays $18.00 per hour. Available schedules include Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, Wednesday–Sunday, Thursday–Monday, Friday–Tuesday, and Saturday–Wednesday. Shift hours are 5:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m. or until the end of sort. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of all required sort work for the day and cleanup activities as directed by site management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stay on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures vary by season.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety protocols and prioritize workplace safety.
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the job.
