Warehouse Package Handler - AM
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations and help ensure packages are handled safely and accurately. The role contributes to a productive, secure work environment by following safety protocols and maintaining quality while working as part of the operations team. The position is located at 8151 Airway Rd., San Diego, CA 92154, and pays $18.75 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed shift is 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with schedules running across various combinations of weekdays and weekends. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stay on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in warehouse temperatures that vary with the seasons, including heat and cold.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Follow safety protocols and help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the job.
