About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Package Handler Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of package handlers, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of packages, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with a shift differential for weekend work.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be reliable and punctual.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of package handlers.
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including package sorting, loading, and unloading.
Ensure all packages are handled safely and efficiently according to company procedures.
Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance to the team.
Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
