About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring efficient package handling. The Lead Warehouse Package Handler will guide a team, manage workflow, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and business needs.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Forklift certification.
Bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of warehouse package handlers.
Oversee the efficient sorting, loading, and unloading of packages.
Ensure all packages are handled according to company standards and safety regulations.
Manage workflow and delegate tasks to team members.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Train new team members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during shifts.
Monitor inventory and report any discrepancies.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
