About The Position

Warehouse Order Selectors work in a Sysco warehouse as part of the foodservice supply chain, selecting orders for delivery to local foodservice venues. This is an active, physical role that involves operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing and palletizing products to build customer orders, and performing other duties as assigned. The work environment may have variations in temperature and humidity based on local weather conditions and the products being selected, including non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen areas. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift products weighing 10–75 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift and retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures, including cooler and/or freezer areas.
• Work on your feet for 10–12 hours daily.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year of selection experience.
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
