About The Position

As a Warehouse Selector, you will pick, gather, and organize products and prepare orders for delivery to local customers. This active role is suited to individuals who want to stay fit while earning above-average income. The position pays $26.99 per hour, increasing to $27.58 after a 90-day probationary period. It is located at 2215 Union Ave, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and is full-time on second shift, four 10-hour days per week. Sundays and Fridays are required. The work may involve grocery, perishable, and frozen environments, with temperatures ranging from approximately -20°F to 90°F. Duties and responsibilities may change as business needs require. The position may be with any affiliate of C&S Wholesale Grocers.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), General Studies.
Ability and willingness to follow all material-handling equipment safe operating procedures.
Ability to safely lift products weighing 1–60 pounds or more, including lifting from floor to overhead.
Ability to stand, bend, pull, lift, pivot, and walk for much of the shift, including walking 6–12 miles per day on varied surfaces.
Safely handle sharp objects, including box-cutting tools.

Responsibilities

Pick items using order sheets or an audio headset.
Stack products on pallets for wrapping and loading at bay doors.
Ensure order accuracy while following safety standards.
Operate a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to retrieve cases from storage racks and place them on pallets; apply selection labels to cases when applicable.
Use proper wrapping techniques to protect products from damage.
Inform a supervisor of differences in case quantity or description.
Inspect equipment and complete the appropriate forms.
Lift cases safely and follow material-handling equipment operating procedures.
