About The Position
The Warehouse Order Puller is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, fulfilling, and shipping funeral-related products for the Pierce Chemicals division while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The role works collaboratively with warehouse personnel, customer service teams, Inside Sales Representatives, and shipping partners to process orders accurately, prepare them on time, and deliver them according to customer expectations. The position suits a detail-oriented, safety-conscious, team-focused person who can work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contribute to reliability, quality, and customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Professional and courteous conduct when delivering to customers.
- Ability to understand and carry out all instructions on a customer’s order.
- Team-oriented approach.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Experience using a manual or electric pallet jack, two-wheel dolly, and forklift.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, kneel, and squat for short periods.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of shopping or warehouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive funeral-related products.
- Pull orders for shipping or customer pickup by identifying the correct part numbers and quantities, proofing orders, and preparing them for shipment.
- Process products and direct them to the correct couriers according to shipping priorities.
- Work with Inside Sales Representatives to verify and process orders and complete daily duties by the end of the day.
- Receive products, stock inventory, and conduct inventory counts.
