About The Position
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Warehouse Operator in Irving, Texas, with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years’ experience as a warehouse operator (receiving, put away, storage, pick, pack, and load)
- Must be trained and/or certified as a Forklift operator (stand-up and sit down)
- Must be able to read, understand and follow processes, procedures and warehouse floor operation practices
- Experienced with safety practices in a warehouse environment; Basic experience with Quality, 5S and Lean practices
- Team player with reliable, consistent and high level of commitment to the business
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
Responsibilities
- Receive product into the site unloading trailers/trucks using a forklift and staging it on the warehouse floor or directly putting it on the rack
- Check quantities and quality of incoming material
- Put away product on the racks
- Pick product per sales orders
- Palletize, wrap and load outgoing orders onto trucks
- Cycle count product to ensure location accuracy
