About The Position

CMC is hiring a Warehouse Operator to support warehouse operations involving the sorting, movement, storage, and shipment of materials. The role includes operating a forklift, assembling customer orders, assisting with loading and unloading, and helping maintain inventory and an organized work area. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a construction and/or manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Ability to work in an uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
Ability to operate hand tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
Perform physical activities including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place them in the appropriate shipping or holding area.
Assist with unloading and loading customers.
Assist with inventory of materials.
Assist with filling work and shipping orders.
Keep the work area and location organized and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
