About The Position

Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The Warehouse Operator is a valued team member who performs tasks essential to Agronomy Service Center and warehouse operations, including coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, packing and loading product using a forklift, organizing storage areas, assisting with cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. This position is listed as 1st shift, 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with pay of $21.20 per hour. Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment, post-offer background check. The company also conducts pre-employment substance abuse testing as part of its drug-free workforce policy.

Requirements

At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Basic computer skills.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Manage time reliably, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.
Read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ensure the physical safety of oneself and coworkers at all times.
Work well with others to meet team goals and adjust to important changes.
Understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Give full attention to others, understand the points being made, and ask questions as appropriate.
Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Work for extended periods across temperature zones that may include cold or hot environments, and potentially dusty environments.
Successfully pass a pre-employment, post-offer background check and pre-employment substance abuse testing.
