About The Position

The International Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting all international shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse. This role ensures import and export shipments comply with company policies, customer requirements, and international trade regulations. The International Specialist works closely with warehouse staff, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation, timely shipments, and efficient inventory movement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers regarding shipment status and documentation.
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve transportation or customs-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of imports, exports, and shipping documentation.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are packed, labeled, and shipped correctly.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation related to international shipments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
