About The Position

The International Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting all international shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse. This role ensures import and export shipments comply with company policies, customer requirements, and international trade regulations. The International Specialist works closely with warehouse staff, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation, timely shipments, and efficient inventory movement.

Requirements

  • Coordinating and supporting all international shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse.
  • Ensuring import and export shipments comply with company policies, customer requirements, and international trade regulations.
  • Working closely with warehouse staff, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation, timely shipments, and efficient inventory movement.
  • Preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures.
  • Communicating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers regarding shipment status and documentation.
  • Monitoring shipment schedules and resolving transportation or customs-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of imports, exports, and shipping documentation.
  • Working closely with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are packed, labeled, and shipped correctly.
  • Tracking shipments and providing status updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Assisting with inventory reconciliation related to international shipments.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
  • Following all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
