Warehouse Operative
About The Position
As a Lidl Warehouse Operative, you’ll help ensure stores receive the right stock when they need it. You’ll pick products, support team tasks such as checking stock, and independently work through orders to help move more than 2,000 products to customers. The role is in the Fruit & Veg department and includes a 37.5-hour contract with a 12:45–21:00 shift pattern. Duties may involve packing meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items, securing deliveries, and reporting damaged items. Work in freezer temperatures as low as -18°C attracts an additional £1.50 per hour. The stated hourly rate is £13.80–£14.45, with additional premiums for bank holidays and night hours. Training and opportunities to progress are available.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Listen carefully to picking instructions through a headset and carry them out swiftly.
- Pack a variety of products, including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items.
- Ensure deliveries are stacked securely.
- Report damaged items to the manager.
- Independently work through assigned orders.
- Help with team tasks such as checking stock.
