About The Position

Oversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals. This role involves competitive wages starting at $27/hr and is dependent on experience. The position provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. It also involves providing measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance, and recognition for achievements. The supervisor will conduct interviews, hiring, and training as necessary, and support safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe working environment for all associates. This role also assists with process improvement initiatives and conducts regular meetings to ensure personnel are informed of policies and procedures, while continually enforcing productivity standards.

Requirements

3 years of related experience
Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers
Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
Good memory and scanning abilities
Good communication and math skills
Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis
Able to learn to use a forklift
May require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policy
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.
