About The Position

Perform warehouse and internal supply chain activities that support manufacturing and assembly operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, issuing, receiving inspection, and shipping. Handle inventory manually or using material handling equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts. Apply skills in inventory management, machine operation, mil-spec packaging, and the use of other material handling equipment and tools. Contribute knowledge to programs and projects, apply established policies and procedures to varied and complex work, recommend new procedures, work independently, lead tasks, and informally mentor others.

Requirements

Experience in warehouse operations.
Experience with shipping and receiving practices.
Knowledge of inventory control practices.
Knowledge of inventory transactions in computer-based systems, including SAP and Oracle.
Ability to read and follow instructions and work independently with little guidance.
Ability to operate computers and warehouse management software.
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including a forklift.
Ability to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Receive, move, store, and ship inventory to support production operations.
Perform receiving, part put-away, part picking, part issuing, receiving inspection, and shipping activities.
Handle boxes manually or with mechanical equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts.
Apply inventory management, machine operation, and mil-spec packaging skills, and operate material handling equipment and tools.
Contribute knowledge to programs and projects and complete varied, complex work using established policies and procedures.
Recommend new procedures.
