About The Position

Perform warehouse and internal supply chain activities that support the manufacturing and assembly of products, including receiving, put-away, picking, issuing, receiving inspection, and shipping. Manage the receipt, movement, and shipment of inventory, including handling boxes manually or with material-handling equipment. Apply inventory management, machine operation, mil-spec packaging, and other material-handling skills. Contribute knowledge to programs and projects, apply established policies and procedures to varied and complex work, recommend new procedures, work independently within established practices, lead tasks, and provide informal mentoring.

Requirements

Experience in warehouse operations.
Experience with shipping and receiving practices.
Knowledge of inventory control practices.
Knowledge of inventory transactions in computer-based systems, including SAP and Oracle.
Ability to read and follow instructions and work independently with little guidance.
Ability to operate computers and warehouse management software.
Ability to operate material-handling equipment, including a forklift.
Ability to move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
High school diploma or GED.
