About The Position

Rubber & Accessories, a fast-paced industrial distribution company specializing in conveyor belt, industrial hose, and gasket products, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join its management team. The manager leads and works alongside warehouse personnel, participates in and leads management meetings, and develops the workforce to support safe operations and the quality and on-time delivery of hose and belt products. The work environment is teamwork-oriented and customer-service-driven. The manager is responsible for the productivity and quality of warehouse operations, including staffing, safety, shipping schedules, daily opening and closing, local delivery routes, equipment and vehicle maintenance schedules, employee training, and coordination with sales, management, and hose and belt department supervisors. The role may also include hands-on warehouse work such as pulling and packing orders, fabricating belt and hose assemblies, forklift driving, assisting walk-in customers, and related tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position. An immediate opportunity is available.

Requirements

Management experience in an industrial environment.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to read a tape measure and work with hand tools.
Valid driving license in good standing.
Ability to lift 50 pounds intermittently.

Responsibilities

Coordinate communication and support with inside and outside sales staff to make effective use of warehouse personnel and equipment and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
Ensure appropriate warehouse staffing, safe and proper operations, on-schedule shipping, and timely daily opening and closing.
Ensure the team follows safety rules and production guidelines.
Develop a culture of ethics, service, and reliability while maintaining the established customer-service focus.
Organize daily routes for local product deliveries.
Coordinate staffing and equipment needs with management and identify growth opportunities.
Set warehouse staff priorities and ensure resources and supplies are available to meet company objectives.
Work with hose and belt department supervisors to ensure each department's needs are met.
Manage maintenance schedules for vehicles and equipment.
Provide training and assistance to warehouse employees.
Perform hands-on work as needed, including pulling and packing orders, fabricating belt and hose assemblies, forklift driving, and related warehouse work.
Assist walk-in customers when needed.
