About The Position

Under the supervisor of the Manager, Warehouse and Transportation, this role assumes responsibility for ensuring that all mobiles have the required materials, supplies and equipment. The assistant serves as a resource for Mobile Unit Operators for daily packing and acquisition of materials for successful operations and promotes the positive image of CBC to the community. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 2:00 am - 10:30 am. A $2,500 Sign On Bonus is available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent - Must provide a copy of the transcript.
Valid driver's license.
Good written and verbal communication skills to successfully communicate with donors, staff, chairpersons, community and co-workers.
Excellent customer service skills.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Ability to meet projected goals.
Computer skills.
Good driving skills and record.
Knowledge of MO and KS driving laws.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
Prefer at least 6 months experience in blood collections, supervision and FDA, AABB and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Competently performs all tasks required by Mobile Unit Operators.
Maintains equipment required for mobiles to include tracking, packing and unpacking, maintenance, storage and applicable Quality Control (QC).
Ensures all needed supplies are packed and ready for use.
Assists with loading, unloading and set-up of mobile equipment and supplies.
Ensures an adequate number and type of vehicles are assigned.
Performs monthly QC of equipment in conjunction with Mobile Packing Supervisor.
Obtains various reports from the computer.
Complies with all applicable safety policies and procedures.
Compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding calibration of equipment.
Orders, receives, inspects and records critical supplies.
Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff.
Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
Must be able to confidently communicate and interpret intermediate information in English to all members of the public and CBC staff.
Must have and maintain a valid MO Class E Driver's License or KS Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
