About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. This role involves loading, unloading, and stocking tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing industrial vehicles like forklifts. It also includes driving a box truck to make deliveries, performing vehicle inspections, and interacting with customers. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 5:00 am-1:30 pm, with potential for overtime and schedule changes based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi).
  • Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor.
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with company driver policy.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
  • Pass a forklift certification test.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana).
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines and requirements during the hiring process.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment.
  • Be on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist other departments such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs.
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on delivery routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs.
  • Make on-time deliveries to customer locations safely and punctually in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles.
  • Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
