About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. This role involves both warehouse material handling and driving responsibilities. The schedule is Monday - Friday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm or until all deliveries are completed, with rotating Saturdays. Schedules may change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi).
  • Satisfactory completion of company road test.
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
  • Pass a forklift certification test.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (THC/marijuana not tested).
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scanners for inventory control.
  • Comfort working at heights up to 25 feet.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a warehouse environment using industrial vehicles like forklifts or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Use team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires. Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds for barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
  • Be on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist other departments (ecomm, inventory, will call) as needed.
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs (driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, etc.).
  • Make on-time, safe, and punctual deliveries to customers in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery.
