Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous supervisory and warehouse experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization.
Certification to operate a forklift is required (company may provide training).
Capacity to make sound analytical decisions.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising and directing the daily activities of the load crew, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
Oversee 3rd Shift Forklift Drivers, aiding in truck loading while verifying the accuracy of loads for accountability.
Interview and hire new employees, providing essential training and coaching to develop their skills.
In collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, coordinate work hours, manage scheduling, and track timekeeping.
Uphold safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
Foster a cooperative work environment to boost morale.
Seek opportunities for operational efficiencies.
Recommend maintenance procedures.
Serve as a backup during the Warehouse Manager’s absence.
