Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Effective and professional communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Certification to operate a forklift (company may provide training).
  • Capacity to make sound analytical decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Previous warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising and directing the daily activities of the load crew, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee 3rd Shift Forklift Drivers, aiding in truck loading while verifying the accuracy of loads for accountability.
  • Interview and hire new employees, providing essential training and coaching to develop their skills.
  • Coordinate work hours, manage scheduling, and track timekeeping in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Uphold safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
  • Foster a cooperative work environment to boost morale.
  • Seek opportunities for operational efficiencies and recommend maintenance procedures.
  • Serve as a backup during the Warehouse Manager’s absence.
