About The Position

Rite Rug Flooring is seeking a qualified, experienced Warehouse Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role oversees receiving, warehousing, and distribution services and supervises warehouse staff. Responsibilities

• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with the data storage system.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing layout designs, inspecting equipment, and issuing repair work orders and replacement requisitions.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
• Maintain warehouse staff job results through coaching, counseling, and discipline, and by planning, monitoring, and appraising performance.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
