About The Position

Signal Group is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to own their fulfillment operation. Every order shipped from SolidSignal.com and Amazon.com goes through this role. The company is a Michigan-based e-commerce and technology company, and the warehouse is at the center of it. The Warehouse Manager will have a real voice in how the operation runs, work alongside the Vice President of Operations and with teams across the company, and have room to improve processes as the company scales.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience
• A proven track record of leading and developing a team
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, from shipping and receiving to inventory control
• Sharp analytical skills, and comfort using data to make decisions
• Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal
• A strategic mindset paired with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
• The ability to stay positive and organized under pressure and juggle several priorities at once
• Proficiency with computers, warehouse software, and new systems
• A current hi-lo (forklift) certification
• Flexibility to adjust your schedule when the business needs it

Nice To Haves

• NetSuite experience
• Hazmat shipping certification
• Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
• A bachelor’s degree (experience will be considered in place of a degree)

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns in a fast-paced environment, and work alongside the team on the daily push.
• Ensure customer orders ship accurately and on time, and step in to solve problems.
• Lead, train, schedule, and coach Warehouse Associates, help them develop, handle performance conversations, and take part in recruiting and hiring.
• Manage stock levels, lead cycle counts, and keep received product stored and organized.
• Take full ownership of the returns lifecycle.
• Use data and reporting tools to identify inefficiencies, and build and refine processes and documentation for efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant warehouse and ensure safe practices.
• Work with supply chain partners and internal teams to ensure smooth goods flow.
