About The Position

The Warehouse Manager plans and executes ordering, inventory management, and product logistics for airport restaurants and markets, in coordination with Front of House and Back of House management teams. The role manages the purchasing, inventory, and logistics team and uses analytics to evaluate team effectiveness by measuring inventory levels, waste reduction, and overall reduction of cost of goods (COGs).

The Warehouse Manager oversees inventory counts and stock levels, reviews consumption reports and aligns inventory with sales and forecasted needs, and ensures market production is completed and logged. The role also oversees stock rotation, removal and return of expired product, accurate and timely order picking and delivery, transfer logging, and delivery compliance with quality assurance standards for time, temperature, and sanitization.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 3 years of management experience in restaurants or retail; preferably overseeing multi-unit concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.

• A degree in hospitality or a culinary field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage required daily and weekly inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels for markets and restaurants.
• Review consumption reports and work with the General Manager of Inventory to align parts with sales and forecasted future needs.
• Ensure required daily production for markets is completed by the Back of House team and properly logged.
• Implement and oversee stock-rotation protocols to ensure quality and reduce waste.
• Ensure expired product is pulled and returned to the correct warehouse so waste is properly logged.
• Manage Warehouse and Porter teams to ensure restaurant and market orders are picked correctly, delivered on time to the correct locations, and transfers are properly logged.
• Ensure product deliveries meet quality assurance standards for time, temperature, and sanitization.
• Use analytics to evaluate team effectiveness, inventory levels, waste reduction, and cost-of-goods reduction.
