About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and shipping department, including transportation requirements. The role manages direct reports and coordinates the movement of finished goods through the warehouses, inventory rotation, and picking, packing, and shipping in compliance with company and customer requirements. The manager maintains the safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness of warehouses, docks, and related equipment, while directing activities to control costs, improve accuracy, and maintain exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
• Strong computer literacy, including Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, the Internet, and a Warehouse Management System.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and work ethics.
• Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Blood borne Pathogens.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in distribution, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure compliance with company safety programs and policies.
• Track and maintain shipping-related KPIs to exceed productivity, quality, and service-level goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate or review staff as required.
• Oversee warehouse supervisors and direct tasks and projects.
• Monitor and administer backorders and substitutions.
• Promptly communicate backorders to customer service.
• Verify and reconcile the ERP system daily, including finished goods and raw materials.
• Oversee warehouse spending and variances.
• Coordinate and manage cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and functional.
• Order materials and supplies for the warehouse and shipping department.
• Lead yearly reviews and goal setting for direct and indirect reports.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager.
