Requirements

At least two years related experience required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience with warehousing programs required. SAP/ERP/WM/Master Data abilities strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with Excel highly desirable
Experience with Omni Channel preferred
Experience with drop ship, wholesale (majors), e-commerce
Knowledge of customer/vendor Compliance
Experience running a multiple facility operation, supervising 75+ employees with multiple shifts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must be extremely organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Achieves financial objectives as it relates to staffing, supplies, and carriers.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Manage a team of 6+ managers, supervisors, and leads.
Supervise a staff off 70+ associates
Oversee the operation of 1 facilities as well as communicate with multiple 3PL’s.
Recruits, interview, hire, and trains new staff
Update SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) wherever necessary
Oversees the daily workflow of the department
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Assist with any audit whenever necessary
Training of staff and adherence to company policies
