About The Position

CJ Logistics is expanding and seeking a Bilingual (Korean/English) Warehouse Manager for its new location in Matteson, IL. This role is responsible for leading Warehouse Supervisors and frontline employees to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations. The manager will motivate, coach, and connect the team to the company's goals, acting as a hands-on leader passionate about people, process, and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bilingual (Korean/English)
  • 3–5 years of experience supervising operations and managing leaders
  • Proven skills in team leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in warehouse or distribution environments
  • Commitment to safety and creating a positive work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Knowledge of WMS (Blue Yonder/Korber/AS400) or other warehouse management systems
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workplaces

Responsibilities

  • Lead Warehouse Supervisors and frontline employees to deliver safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Motivate, coach, and connect employees to the bigger picture.
  • Set and communicate clear expectations and empower the team to meet them.
  • Lead with energy and create a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Train, support, and hold Warehouse Supervisors accountable for shift performance.
  • Walk the floor, lead by example, and be a visible, approachable leader.
  • Champion safety, participate in ESG activities, and host site-wide events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service and Inventory teams.
  • Execute action plans to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
  • Monitor and review team and shift performance regularly.
  • Support process improvements, audits, cost reduction, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure systems, processes, and equipment keep the team productive and safe.
  • Handle other duties as assigned within training and expertise.
