Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Warehouse Manager with our Supply Chain team. The Warehouse Manager provides strategic leadership for materials management and oversees all central warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, compliant, and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. The role is accountable for operational excellence, inventory governance, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of directly related materials management and warehousing experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of management experience, leading teams and having direct reports.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills using office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects and Visio.

Nice To Haves

  • Mining experience preferred.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Make strategic decisions regarding materials categorization, warehouse governance, and process methodology, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Implement corporate strategy and contribute to regional strategy for stock control, inventory management, supplier-held stocks, and consignment inventory.
  • Recommend and lead process improvements using industry best practices; serve as a subject matter expert in warehouse management.
  • Develop and implement programs that enhance communication, collaboration, and adoption of leading-practice inventory management processes across teams.
  • Oversee audit preparedness for warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic direction for ERP/WMS utilization and data integrity.
  • Assume full accountability for all warehouse operations at the Central or Site Warehouse, including the receipt, put-away, storage, and handling of goods, as well as the investigation and documentation of all quality-related returns.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for warehouse material flow, inventory management, consumables, tools, and kitting activities.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of cycle count programs by setting parameters, reviewing results, monitoring compliance, and addressing discrepancies.
  • Ensure receiving functions, discrepancy identification, and transaction accuracy are completed timely across all warehouse facilities.
  • Establish and oversee a parts preservation program to protect inventory from environmental deterioration.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards; lead safety culture through training, communication, and timely review of unsafe events.
  • Develop warehouse capacity plans and long-term storage strategies.
  • Oversee equipment utilization, maintenance, and replacement planning for warehouse assets.
  • Oversee the upkeep and safety of the warehouse facility ensuring the building, grounds, and offices are properly maintained and compliant with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and control the warehouse operating budget including labor, equipment, supplies, and maintenance expenses, while identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Build strong working relationships with executives and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on materials management strategies and service expectations.
  • Promote transparency of warehouse operations and inventory performance through structured communication and reporting.
  • Ensure teams share lessons learned and apply consistent methodologies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Develop the skills and capabilities of direct and indirect reports through coaching, training, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • Serve as a mentor and champion for talent development across the supply chain organization.
  • Perform other duties or special assignments as required.
